OverviewBookingsReviewsVideos

Heralded as "A star in the making..." by online TV show The Hangout Duo, South African-born King Slave Boris' hit single release "Runny Money" has received uproarious plays on radio and streaming platforms.

King Slave Boris is acclaimed as one of Southern Africa's most prominent emerging artists, his versatility in various musical genres placing him as a leading global export with collaboration work and placements internationally.

King Slave Boris started his passion for music at the age of 10, influenced by old school Hip Hop, New Orleans Jazz and Soul music after the passing of his father who plays a significant role in his present artistic expression. King Slave Boris has released multiple albums and singles as an independent artist and caught the attention of dominant independent record label Imaculit Music Group in May 2017.

His music is fueled by his master wordplay, rich tenor vocals, jazz-influenced vibrato, and beautifully understated soul voice - a commonness shared with Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino and Tory Lanez.

"I don't want my music to make me some change, I want my music to make a change" is a powerful declaration King Boris shared on prime radio station Bush Radio 89.5FM during a recent interview.

King Slave Boris is currently working on his debut album through his Indie record label Imaculit Music Group titled "Coloured Never, Khoisan Always", to share his challenging experiences during his rise to prominence. The album promises to showcase an in-depth view into his musicality and relatable stories through punchy lyricism, soulful singing and showcasing versatility.

Often praised for his ability to sound new and "old school" at once, King Slave Boris anchors his music in the space where culture, tradition and innovation intersect.

King Slave Boris' single "Runny Money" is available worldwide on iTunes, Google Play Music, Spotify and Amazon Music stores.
